PCB board is one of the most common electronic components, almost all electronic products will use PCB board!

PCB is widely used in electronics, computers, electrical appliances, mechanical equipment and other industries, it is the support body of components, mainly used to connect components to provide electrical, which is the most common and widely used 4 and 6 layers of PCB, according to the industry can choose different degrees of PCB layers. Next, let’s understand the basic knowledge of PCB and the process of PCB corrosion.

Printed circuit board, also known as printed circuit boards, printed circuit board, or PCB, PCB (English abbreviation printedcircuitboard PWB (printedwiringboard), or for insulation board base material, cut into a certain size, with at least one conductive graphics, and cloth have a hole (such as component hole, fastening hole, hole metallization, etc.), is used to replace previous device electronic components of the chassis, and realize the connection between the electronic components. Because these boards are made by electronic printing, they are called “printed” circuit boards. It is not accurate to refer to printed circuit board as printed circuit because there are no printed components on the printed board but only wiring.

PCB is an important electronic component and the support body of electronic components. Automatic soldering machine provides technical support for soldering of PCB, enabling the development of electronic components. However, the problem of corrosion of the PBC circuit board has been troubling the automatic solder merchants. Through years of experience, okada electronics has worked out a solution to the problem of corrosion of the PCB.

What is the corrosion process of PCB:

The corrosion solution is usually made of ferric chloride plus water. Ferric chloride is an earthen solid that also absorbs moisture from the air, so it should be sealed and preserved. Configuration of ferric chloride solution is generally use 40% of the ferric trichloride and 60% of the water, of course more iron trichloride, or with warm (not hot water to prevent peeling paint) can bring to the attention of response speed faster ferric trichloride has certain corrosion resistance, try not to touch the skin and clothes, reaction vessel with cheap plastic POTS, put the circuit board is good.

Corrode the PCB from the edge. When the unpainted copper foil has been corroded, the PCB should be removed in time to prevent the paint from peeling and corroding the useful circuit. Rinse with clean water at this point, and scrape off the paint with bamboo slices (the paint comes out from the liquid at this point, which is easier to remove). If it’s not easy to scrape, just rinse with hot water. Then dry it, sandpaper it, and you get the shiny copper foil, and you have a printed circuit board. To preserve the results, the polished PCB is usually coated with rosin solution to aid welding and prevent oxidation.
