In fact, the process of PCB depends on the number of layers, vias, line width and line distance of PCB. It takes two days for some large companies to review PCB documents, For example, the combination of hardware and software board, the requirements for machines and the management level of the company are inseparable. Whether it is simple or complex, let’s talk about the process of circuit board:
PCB circuit board production process
1. Cutting
Intention: according to the requirements of engineering data mi, cut into small pieces to produce plates on large sheets meeting the requirements. Small pieces meeting the requirements of customers
Process: large plate → plate cutting according to MI requirements → curium plate → beer fillet / edge grinding → plate out
2. Drilling
Purpose: according to the engineering data, drill the required hole diameter at the corresponding position on the plate with the required size
Process: laminated pin → upper plate → drilling → lower plate → view \ repair
3. Copper precipitation
Purpose: copper deposition is to deposit a thin layer of copper on the insulating hole wall by chemical method
Process: rough grinding → hanging plate → automatic copper sinking line → lower plate → dipping% dilute H2SO4 → thickening copper
4. Graphic handling
Intention: Graphic handling is to transport the pictures on the production film to the board
Process: (blue oil process): grinding plate → printing the first side → drying → printing the second side → drying → exposure → developing → viewing; (dry film process): Hemp board → film pressing → standing → alignment → exposure → standing → developing → viewing
5. Pattern plating
Intention: pattern electroplating is to electroplate a copper layer with the required thickness and a gold nickel or tin layer with the required thickness on the exposed copper skin or hole wall of the line pattern
Process: upper plate → degreasing → secondary water washing → micro etching → water washing → pickling → copper plating → water washing → pickling → tin plating → water washing → lower plate
6. Film removal
Purpose: remove the anti plating coating with NaOH solution to expose the non line copper layer
Process: water film: inserting rack → alkali leaching → scouring → wiping → passing through the machine; Dry film: placing plate → passing machine
7. Etch
Intent: etching is to use chemical reaction method to corrode the copper layer of non line parts
8. Green
Intention: green oil is to transport the graphics of green film to the board to maintain the circuit and prevent tin on the circuit when welding parts
Process: grinding plate → printing photosensitive green oil → curium plate → exposure → developing; Grinding plate → printing the first side → drying plate → printing the second side → drying plate
9. Character
Intent: a character is an easily recognizable mark provided
Process: after finishing curium with green oil → cooling and standing → screen adjustment → printing characters → rear curium
10. Gold Plated finger
Purpose: plating a nickel / gold layer with required thickness on the plug finger to make it more hard and wear-resistant
Process: upper plate → degreasing → twice water washing → micro etching → twice water washing → pickling → copper plating → water washing → nickel plating → water washing → gold plating
Tinplate (a parallel process)
Intent: tin spraying is to spray a layer of lead tin on the exposed copper surface not covered with solder resist oil, so as to maintain the copper surface from corrosion and oxidation, so as to ensure good welding performance
Process: Micro etching → air drying → preheating → rosin coating → solder coating → hot air leveling → air cooling → washing and air drying
11. Molding
Intention: through die stamping or CNC gong machine gong out of the shape required by customers, the method of forming organic Gong, beer board, hand Gong and hand cutting
Note: the accuracy of data gong machine board and beer board is high, followed by hand Gong, and the hand cutting board can only make some simple shapes
12. Test
Intention: through electronic 100% test, detect open circuit, short circuit and other defects affecting functionality that are not easy to be found visually
Process: mold loading → plate placement → test → qualified → FQC visual inspection → unqualified → repair → retest → OK → rej → scrapping
