PCB planning process includes making circuit schematic diagram, planning PCB, component packaging, component layout, active wiring, manual adjustment, saving output, etc. The following is the planning process of printed circuit board.
Planning process of printed circuit board
(1) Principle of making circuit diagram.
This is the basis of circuit board planning, which mainly completes the production of circuit schematic diagram and generates network report.
(2) Plan the circuit board.
Before making the circuit board, the user shall make a preliminary plan for the circuit board, including setting the physical scale of the circuit board, selecting several layers of circuit boards, packaging of components, stopping after installation, etc., which confirms the framework for the planning of the later printed circuit board.
(3) Set parameters.
It mainly sets the distribution parameters and wiring parameters of components. Generally, the default values of these parameters can be selected, or they do not need to be modified after one setting.
(4) Component packaging.
The so-called component packaging is the shape of components. Each component loaded into the printed circuit board should have corresponding packaging, so as to ensure the normal wiring of the circuit board.
(5) Component layout.
After the planned circuit board, the components can be placed in the frame of the circuit board, and the active wiring function provided by Protel 99 SE can be used to actively route the components.
(6) Active wiring
Protel 99 SE provides a strong active wiring function and can actively wiring the placed components. Generally, active wiring will not make mistakes.
(7) Manual adjustment
After the active wiring is completed, the user can adjust the special components to ensure that they comply with the corresponding rules, so as to ensure that the anti-interference of the circuit board reaches the standard.
(8) Save the output.
After the components are wired and adjusted correctly, the final planning of the printed circuit board is completed, and then the drawing is printed and the output is saved
