Prismark, a professional electronic industry research institution, released the latest global printed circuit board industry report recently. Statistics show that the total output value of the global PCB market surged 15.8% year-on-year to USD 85.2 billion in 2025. Driven by large-scale construction of AI data centers, high-speed communication and automotive electronics, the market scale is projected to reach USD 95.8 billion in 2026, with an annual growth rate of 12.5%.
From product structure, high-end products become the core growth engine: IC packaging substrates achieve a compound annual growth rate of 10.9%, HDI boards grow at 9.2%, and high-layer multi-layer PCBs dedicated to AI servers maintain an 8.0% growth rate. Ordinary single/double-sided boards and general flexible circuit boards see only moderate low-speed growth. Geographically, the Asia-Pacific region remains the world’s core production base, contributing more than 54% of global PCB output value, with complete industrial chains covering copper foil, prepreg, substrate materials and precision manufacturing supporting high-volume delivery of high-end boards.
